SOMERSET & DORSET RAILWAY EXHIBITION

 

This exhibition for the Somerset & Dorset Railway Trust commemorated the 50th anniversary of the closure of one of Britain’s best loved railways. Ten panels in the Trust’s museum at Washford tell the story of the railway, inluding a timeline and map of the route. Text is kept to a minimum and is carefully written to appeal to both enthusiasts and general visitors. Strong use is also made of large, eye-catching images. Two more versions of the exhibition were created using pop-up banners and folding, framed panels for use at an extensive programme of events.
