CLYDACH GORGE WELCOME SIGNAGE

 

New signage at Clydach Ironworks, near Abergavenny, for MonLife, Monmouthshire County Council. This project involved extensive research and community consultation before designing these signs to interpret the fantastic history, landscape and wildlife of the Clydach Gorge. The design incorporates elements of both Blaenavon World Heritage Site and Monmouthshire County Council branding. At almost 5 metres wide, including a central laser-cut corten steel panel, this is

a major statement piece, designed to welcome visitors, orientate them and encourage them to explore the local area.
